Regional artists

Regional artists are the most important resource of regional arts councils. As experts in their own artistic area, they attend to various tasks in accordance with their job descriptions. Regional artists are active players whose primary task is to promote their own branch of art while operating as generators in their region and facilitating dialogue between art in its various forms. Regional artists are appointed for a fixed term.

An idea deemed feasible and presented at a sufficiently early planning stage will be supported by the Arts Council through its work input and a project grant.
